About Me

Hey, I'm Robert! I am an aspiring front-end web developer. I am largely self taught, but also was part of two bootcamps. The latest, what was meant to be a full-stack bootcamp, but turned into just front-end, due to time, and the other in another coding language.

Christmas Advent Calendar

It's probably not anywhere near Christmas, but it was getting closer when I started making this site. This is just a simple Christmas advent calendar. Each day starting December 1st, and going through December 25th you can get a little something each day by pressing a button. You'll have to check the site out to see what you'll get.

IMPORTANT: If it's not December and you want to access the content for each day of the calendar, tap or click the "view site" button below, then tap or click the "v" in the "Christmas Advent" heading 5 times.

Word Finder

This is a HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript game. The game is based on a pencil and paper game, where you write a word on the top of a page and try to find as many words as you can in that word, being able to reorder the letters.

Simple Fun Toy Store

A fake toy store site built with React using create-react-app and some Bootstrap. The toys come from an object inside a JavaScript file.

React Recipes

I started to learn React, so I wanted to make a project to practice my new knowledge. I connect to the Spoonacular API to gain access to the recipes. I provide instructions on how to use the site for yourself (for those who have some coding experience) in the README file. Note: because this site requires an API key, and I may not be allowed to have the key publically available, I didn't provide a "view site" link for this project.

Winter Wonder Lodge Landing Page

Winter Wonder desktop view Winter Wonder mobile view

A simple responsive site using HTML and CSS with a few lines of JavaScript for a hamburger menu. I started with the idea of trying to copy the DutchBros website, but then I decided to use it as insperation, and built this. It was getting cold outside, so it was good timing.
